The owner of Chestnut Hill Estate Sales is a thief. Pure and simple. Alan Davidson was entrusted to help my husband and I liquidate our Needham home before we downsized. He stole in the range of $12,00-$15,000 from us in jewelry and furnishings, told us he was insured and bonded (which is a flat out lie)and on and on it goes.

STAY away from this company and his new company called cosign it. He should be shut down and hopefully will be.

Once Alan found out how unhappy we are he began an electronic tiraid on Facebook and other social media sites slandering my family and berating us. 1290309

Firstly, it has been my experience that whenever there are several positive reviews in a brief period of time the people are either friends, employees or people who have been asked to review him. If these reviews are legit, good for these customers. They must have inventoried their belongings themselves or kept a close eye on their sale. I relied on Alan Davidson's word and the integrity of the contract we signed, which said that he would do a complete inventory list both before and after the sale. (neither occurred). I also put my full trust in him as he is a great salesman.

Since I posted my review on YELP people have contacted me with the stories of woe. There are so many of us that we are meeting with attorneys to form a class action suit.

Do not trust this guy....he is generally a THIEF as posted previously. :( :cry

I used Mr Davidson and his company to sell my coin collection. They did a tremendous job. I made much more money with them than going to a coin store.

I can not say it any clearer...STAY AWAY. There are dozens of us who have become victims of theft at his and and deception. We are trying to put together some kind of action.

ALl YELP reviews that explain and detail issues have been removed by him. He has an F with BBB.

In my experience, he lied and said he was insured and bonded, stole about $20,000 in gold thousands of belongings. I saw him put my things in his car.

The truth will come out soon. If you use ALAN DAVIDSON and any of his DBA's you WILL be ripped off and hurt.

THIEF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jodimae, I just found someone else who was taken by Chestnut Hill Estate Sales. Plus he has added a new business name to his list.

He also is nowlisting a different insurance company but will not give any specific information regarding it. But then How do you contact a non existent company?
